Strategy and policy recommendations to improve the quality of the education workforce by the National Governors Association.
Many of the recommendations in this guide are cost-neutral. They involve changing regulations as a means to build a high-quality education workforce. They also require states to examine existing funding priorities to determine whether funds should be shifted to strategies that are proven to improve student achievement and away from priorities that have failed to produce measurable gains in student achievement.
