Adapting Physics and Everyday Thinking to Large Classes: How to Engage Students in the Practices of Science

In his plenary talk, Dr. Goldberg discusses how critical features of the original PET (Physics and Everyday Thinking) curriculum have been adapted in the design of two new courses, Learning Physical Science (LEPS) and Learning Physics (LEP), for large, lecture-style settings.
