ALTEC is a growing project founded to support K-12 teachers in the integration of technology in the classroom. The ALTEC network of more than a dozen partners offers free online tools and resources, professional development, interactive venues, tips for effective use of digital materials, and monthly newsletters on emerging technologies.  Of particular interest for K-12 teachers is the collection of tools developed by ALTEC partner 4Teachers.org, offering ready-to-use quizzes, rubrics, checklists, research organizers, and exportable note-taking for students.

This project is part of University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning.
