This resource is a free tool to help K-12 teachers create quality rubrics in a short amount of time. A rubric is a scoring tool that lists criteria for a project or investigation. Rubrics clarify what is expected of the student and promote self-evaluation skills. Templates are available for multiple types of projects, including science investigations, verbal presentations, and multimedia.  Users may also choose from a variety of rubrics submitted by other teacher-contributors. Users must register to access RubiStar.

RubiStar is part of the collection of online tools available through 4Teachers.org, founded to support integration of technology in the K-12 classroom.
