This Visual Quantum Mechanics simulation from Kansas State University enables the visitor to explore the operation of fluorescent light bulbs by changing the energy levels, the excitation energy, and the emitted light. An interactive visual display shows the relationships, and text provides further explanation. This simulation is for students in a first or second year physics course.
