This resource is an interactive simulation that allows users to self-test their own knowledge of vector addition. By clicking and dragging lines, users can draw two vectors and their sum, then check the answer against that of the applet. A complete lesson plan is available through the Help menu, explaining both the tail-to-tip and parallelogram methods of vector addition.
This item is part of a larger collection of simulation based physics modules sponsored by the MAP project (Modular Approach to Physics).
