This is an interactive Java applet developed to help beginners learn about graphing polynomials. Users may adjust the coefficients and constants to see how the graph changes. View the curves for the individual terms (e.g. y=bx ) to see how they add to generate the polynomial curve. Teaching ideas and activities are included. The direct link to the simulation is given as a mirror URL.
This item is part of a larger and growing collection of resources developed by the Physics Education Technology project. Each resource was designed using principles from physics education research. Please note that this resource requires Flash.
