The data that follow are the result of using the motion detector (a Microcomputer-Based Laboratory (MBL) tool) in the context of a carefully constructed curriculum with students in standard and honors physics courses at eight different Massachusetts high schools as part of a project (primarily funded by the Massachusetts Board of Regents) at the Center for Science and Math Teaching at Tufts University.
