This applet simulates standing wave modes in a rectangular box. Transverse electric and magnetic modes can be selected from a series of tables. The oscillation speed and width and height of the box can be adjusted. Both electric and magnetic fields can be shown, or current or charge. The colors can be displayed in 3D, on the sides or on a 2D movable slice. A spectrum display is optional. Directions and source code are included.
Please note that this resource requires Java.
