This applet simulates a membrane which can be 'poked' or shaped with the mouse. Damping, simulation speed and the aspect ratio are adjustable. The membrane can be displayed in 3-D or 2-D, with optional color. Modes can be selected from a table, and more than one can be selected at a time. A sound option is also included, but this applet only works with Microsoft Java. A second applet is included for Netscape/Sun Java.
Please note that this resource requires Java.
