This is a collection of research-validated learning assessments for concepts in physics and astronomy, and surveys to determine student appreciation for science. Assessments are available for many topics and level of student, from high school through upper division. Information regarding the goal and structure of the assessments, best practices for using the assessments, and research results regarding the assessments are all available. The Physport assessment database also includes the Data Explorer service that will analyze assessments results and compare to national outcomes. Access to the assessments is restricted to verified physics and astronomy educators and researchers.
The Assessment Database is part of Physport, a service to provide faculty with research-validated resources to improve teaching and learning.
