Forces are Vectors
published by the College Ready Math-Science Partnership
This set of  teacher notes covers the vector nature of forces. This material can be used in a professional development workshop that encourages teachers to think about teaching applications of vectors. The activity, suitable for teachers and students, uses scales to determine magnitudes and directions for multiple forces in a static situation. Possible learning outcomes and student difficulties are included.

This is part of a collection of similar resources developed by the College-Ready Math-Science Partnership at the University of Arkansas. This activity was originally developed by PASCO and modified by the College Ready MSP.
