This NASA-created web site introduces electromagnetic waves and their behaviors to secondary learners. Each region of the spectrum is described, illustrated, and accompanied by video clips. Within each section, the authors explore the relationship between wavelength and wave type and provide information about how scientists detect the various waves and collect images of their emissions. Don't miss the link to NASA's Tour of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, a free set of 24 posters, which can be viewed online or printed for the classroom.
