This web site sponsored by the Optical Society of America is a collection of resources on the topic of optics. It was developed to provide the science community and general public with educational resources and services to advance the science of light. Users will find simulations, activities, and reference material organized by specific topic -- including color, light reflection/refraction, polarization, light scattering, human vision, lenses, optical illusions, and more. There are sections dedicated to teachers and aspiring scientists. Resources range in scope from simple to complex.
