Detail Page

published by the UCLA Department of Physics and Astronomy
This is the main page for the UCLA Physics/Astronomy Instructional Resource Lab, a large collection of multimedia teaching resources.  It consists of easily-searched databases for ILD's (interactive lecture demonstrations), video clips, simulations, and other interactive learning resources for physics and astronomy.  The resources, created by a variety of authors, are organized by topics that include mechanics, waves/sound, matter and thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, light/optics, modern physics, and astronomy.  Most of the ILD's are animated, a feature not commonly found in lecture demonstration materials available online.  Users may browse materials by topic or search using keywords.
