This Exploratorium Snack website gives instructions and procedures for a simple polarization experiment using two polaroid filters and transparent tape to build a small model of a stained glass window. All necessary tools and materials are listed, along with all the steps for assembly. The site includes a description of the physics of polarization that explains how polarized light produces the colors in the mosaic.
