This item is an introductory lab that examines nuclear radiation.  The lab is designed to aid student understanding of the random nature of radioactive decay to prepare them for problems involving processes governed by probability.  The apparatus consists of a Geiger tube, a scaler, an absorber set, and a source set.  This item is part of a larger collection of online physics labs by the authors.
