This 3D applet demonstrates Lissajous figures as sinusoidal voltages are applied to the horizontal and vertical deflection plates of an Oscilloscope. The user can change the frequency, amplitude and phase of each of the voltages and observe the resulting figure. Instructions on the use of the applet and Lissajous figures is provided.
This is part of a large library of simulations titled "Learn Physics Using Java" Please note that this resource requires Java Applet Plug-in.
