This article tells about WMAP, the Wilkinson Microave Anisotropy Project, a sucessor to COBE, the Cosmic Background Explorer.  WMAP is used to study the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation from the Big Bang in much finer detail than COBE.  Site contains research results, pictures, diagrams, and links.
