Detail Page

published by the Exploratorium
This Exploratorium site contains an activity to produce images with a cylindrical mirror.  The mirror is made of aluminized Mylar backed with construction paper.  The site provides diagrams to explain the observed effects and also explains why a flat mirror seems to reverse right and left but not up and down.
