The diver is made from a condiment packet and placed in a squeezable plastic bottle where it will float, sink, or hover according to changes in pressure. The provides an explanation of what happens in terms of fluids and mechanics, lists materials needed, and offers assembly instructions. This activity is part of Exploratorium's Science Snacks series.
