This website includes an explanation of impedance in AC circuits, along with an applet that draws graphs and phasor diagrams for some important variables in the circuit. The explanation of impedance gives formulas for reactance, impedance and resonance, and explains the importance of resonance. The applet allows the user to vary the frequency, resistance, capacitance, and inductance of the circuit, and the applet can then graph the current, the current-voltage phase difference, or the impedance.
