This site is primarily comprised of a list (which can be viewed chronologically or by discipline) of women mainly from the pre-20th century period. A very brief description of the contributions these women have made to science fleshes out the list. The site has several sections: Introduction, Biographies, Photographs, and References.  Includes an interactive quiz and cross-word puzzle.
