Atomic scattering factors based upon photoabsorption measurements of elements in their elemental state. Tables allow users to search out atomic scattering factor data by element and look up the x-ray properties of elements, the index of refraction for a compound material, the x-ray attenuation length of a solid, the x-ray transmission of a solid or a gas, and more. Most of the tables are accessed by way of an outline query form with variables such as material, density, and photon energy range entered by the user.
