This is a comprehensive set of online tutorials created for secondary students and teachers who want to learn about the nervous system. Chapters include basics of brain anatomy, neurons, the spinal cord, sensory systems, statistical methods in neuroscience, neurological and mental disorders, and effects of drugs on the nervous system. Tutorials are written in kid-friendly language, with liberal use of diagrams, images, and animation. This resource was created and is maintained by Eric H. Chudler, PhD, Executive Director of the University of Washington Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering.
