Physlet® Physics Gravitation Explorations JS Package
written by Anne Cox, Wolfgang Christian, and Mario Belloni
The Physlet® Physics Gravitation Explorations Package contains JavaScript adaptations of Explorations from Physlet Physics Chapter 12.  In this package we explore how gravitation is the force responsible for the motion of the planets (a celestial gravitational force) the same force responsible for the motion of objects near the surface of the earth (terrestrial gravitational force)?

Gravitation Explorations are tutorial in nature. They provide some hints or suggest problem-solving strategies to students in working problems or understanding concepts. Some Explorations ask students to make a prediction and then check their predictions, explaining any differences between predictions and observations. Other Explorations require students to change parameters and observe the effect, asking students to develop, for themselves, certain physics relationships (equations).

The Physlet® Physics Gravitation Explorations Package was developed using the Easy Java/JavaScript Simulations (EjsS) version 5.  Although EjsS is a Java program, it can create stand-alone JavaScript programs that run in almost any PC or tablet.
