Projectile Motion
published by the College Ready Math-Science Partnership
This set of instructional activities and teacher notes covers topic of projectile motion using a guided-inquiry approach. The goal of this activity is to develop a quantitative description of projectile flight through experiment and modeling. The notes provide a sequence of activities and data analysis that help students explore 2D motion, from kinematics to energy concepts. Potential student difficulties with vectors and algorithmic solution methods are addressed.
