This site, maintained by the Information Institute of Syracuse, contains a large collection of standards-based, hands-on activities developed by teachers spanning the North American continent. Within the science section, educators will find lessons relating to all strands of the curriculum, including physical science, earth science, life science, and environmental issues. All lessons are subjected to selection criteria that evaluate the educational objectives, grade level appropriateness, reflection of best practice methodologies, and topical content. Most resources include printable instructions and diagrams, plus suggestions for assessment and concept extension.
