This conference presentation describes a ready-to-use laboratory activity using Tracker for both video analysis and video modeling of the "fictional" Coriolis force. Students use video analysis to track the motion of a ball in a rotating reference frame. Then, they build a model of the motion using Tracker's modeling tools and compare the experiment to theory.
