Astronomy and Cosmology: The Description, Origin, and Development of the Universe is a section of a larger tutorial describing the uses of remote sensing.  The author disscusses many topics in astronomy and cosmology like: a review of relativity, the origin of the universe, stellar astronomy, galaxies, the age of the universe, the expansion of the universe, dark matter, dark energy, and the philosophical implications cosmology has on religion.  There are also numerous images, photos, and useful links incorporated in these tutorials.
