This site discusses the processes involved after hydrogen burning has stopped in a star in particular: pulsations, double shell burning, the indicators of stellar death, planetary nebulae, stellar cinders, and born-again stars. The last sections provide a description of last stages of hydrogen burning in high masses and the other section ends with low mass stars.
