Parabolic Throw with Video Model
written by Francisco Esquembre
The Parabolic Throw with Video Model overlays an EJS model on a video of a ball being thrown. The video displays 15 frames per second and a vertical calibration bar.  The simulation superimposes a trajectory of a red circle with acceleration x'' = -g, where g is the acceleration due to gravity.  The user sets the initial conditions and the value of g in order to match the trajectory shown on the video.  This model uses the Xuggle video library and is designed to test the EJS video API.  A warning message is displayed if Xuggle is not installed.

The Parabolic Throw with Video Model was created using the Easy Java Simulations (EJS) modeling tool.  It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive.   Double clicking the ejs_mech_ParabolicThrowWithVideo.jar file will run the program if Java is installed.  You can modify this simulation if you have EJS installed by right-clicking within the plot and selecting "Open Ejs Model" from the pop-up menu item.

Please note that this resource requires Xuggle.

i have customized the simulation to fit the real world data by changing the dimensions of the video.
