PhysTEC 2011 Solicitation For New Sites: Give Us Feedback, and Learn About Intentions
written by Theodore Hodapp
Presented at the 2011 PhysTEC Conference, this presentation deatails the PhysTEC RFP process. The Physics Teacher Education Coalition (PhysTEC) has funding from the NSF for at least one more addition of new sites.  We expect to add an additional half dozen sites again this coming year through a similar procedure that includes pre- and full- proposals, external merit review panel, and site visits.  This presentation describes how we have conducted our solicitation process in the past several years and include likely deadline dates, hints on what made proposals stand out at each stage, and how you might shape your program to be competitive.
