the C21: Physics Teaching for the 21st Century
This web site contains a broad spectrum of resources for teachers who are interested in teaching physics concepts in real world contexts. These materials have been developed with the goal to help students understand and solve 21st century problems.
The resources available include: Articles that clearly explain physics concepts in a real world context; take-home experiments that can be done by students or by teachers as class demonstrations; lecture notes; multiple choice questions to use as a quick test of understanding during lectures and to stimulate critical thinking; problem sets and exam questions that would interest students; data sheets with real-world numbers and information; and videos further explaining physics concepts in real world contexts
