This web site provides a series of pre-lecture activities for students in a two semester course in introductory, calculus-based physics. These web-based presentations engage students in the introduction of new material as the necessary preparation for an in-class lecture that actively engages the students in learning.  Each presentation consists of a narrated, animated slide show with questions on the material integrated into the online lecture. Explanations of these questions are included in the slide show.

The developers of these activities have reported the results of research on their use and impact on student success and attitudes.
