Making the Case: The role of data in supporting educational innovations

This presentation describes the use of data from education research to reveal the impact of reformed educational practices in physics classes. The data used includes learning gains, student attitudes, course grades, and content retention. Examples of the use of this information to encourage and support wider adoption of proven methods are given.
