Participants attend all research group meetings to get an overall view of their own project and how it fits into the goals of the group.

In addition to the research group meetings, the participants are also asked to attend a weekly seminar, field trips, and lab tours. This gives them a chance to interact with the others in the program. At these seminars we may have outside speakers or reports from the participants.
