Description: Offered through National Science Foundation, JILA and Physics Dept., Univ. of Colorado at Boulder which has three Nobel Prize winners in Physics.  The REU program offers a real-life cutting-edge research experience outside the classroom.  No formal classes.  Typical reserch group consists of lead professor, post docs and graduate students.   Twelve students will be selected.  Start Date:  June 5, 2006
End Date:  August 12, 2006.  In addition to stipend of $3,325:

Sustenance Allowance with off-campus housing:  $1,650.00

Sustenance Allowance with on-campus housing:  $1,850.00

Travel Reimbursement (students from outside Colorado) up to $535.00
