This applet simulates electromagnetic wave modes in a waveguide. The oscillation speed, driving frequency, number of particles, and width and height of the waveguide are adjustable. The electric and magnetic fields can be shown, or the current or charge. The simulations can be displayed as (colored) field strength, field vectors, or particles on field lines. The user can also view a 2-D slice of the waveguide. Directions are included.
