The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is hands down one of the most unique and diverse clubs at Saint Peter's College.

Worldwide, SPS is a professional association with international participation, granting membership through college chapters. Within the SPS is Sigma Pi Sigma, a nationally recognized scholastic honor society. All college majors are welcome to join SPS, but the highest representation tends to come from majors in the natural sciences, engineering, and medicine.

Our goal is to develop a society that students will not only learn about the physical world, but students can be interactively involved in the community.

Students are welcome to come during our biweekly meetings, usually on Wednesdays in pope 2 at noontime. During each meeting, we discuss current events in physics. Food is always served at each of the meetings.

  • Physics Connection: Physics Connection is a new way to unite all students and to promote educational outreach. Members have the opportunity to make conference calls with fellow physics students, upload group pictures, create discussions, or chat with one another. Also, it's a faster way of communication with local colleges, high schools, and elementary schools. "A new way to stay connected: PHYSICS-CONNECTION"
