The following scholarships are available now:

1. AFCEA NOVA - Open to US Citizens who live in the Washington DC area.  Scholarship is available to STEM students. Please visit the following website for more information:

2.  University of Wisconsin at Platteville STEM Scholars – Applications are available now.   Please visit the following website for more information:

Deadline:  3/15/14

3. The ACIL Scholarship Alliance - is also offering a scholarship to STEM students.   Please visit the following website for more information:

4.  The University of TX at Austin Astronomy Freshman Prize for Excellence - For more information, please visit:

At the same website listed above, the University of TX at Austin also lists several scholarships that are available to enrolled astronomy students including the Ralph Cutler Greene endowed scholarship which is awarded to a senior astronomy student entering their final year. So, again, if you are looking at this university or are currently enrolled, this may be of interest to you.

As some of you may recall, NASA offered an aeronautical scholarship annually. However, NASA's scholarship program appears to have moved to a different website and it has changed to some extent as well.

The new website lists scholarships for STEM students.  This website doesn't indicate there are any scholarships open at the moment.  However, you may want to bookmark the website and mark your calendar to keep an eye on the website in 2014.  This will enable you to see if the website is updated with new opportunities available either in the Spring or Summer of 2014.  If you are interested, please visit the following website for more information:

IMPORTANT:  This website also appears to focus on recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students for internships, fellowships and scholarships.  So, if you are interested in NASA, this site may also be a great resource for a variety of reasons.
