This web site, maintained by Cornell University, contains a database of a wide range of short videos demonstrating physics concepts. The videos can be used during lecture by instructors, by students for coursework outside lecture, and for students to review demonstrations after class. The database can be browsed by subject or searched by keyword.
All videos are displayed in Flash format. Users are encouraged to submit their own videos to be shared. Cornell offers free hosting of the videos and will manage file conversions. Authors will also receive copies of the converted files, either digitally or on a DVD-Rom. Each video will be presented with appropriate context, as well as a link to the contributing author's home page. Contributors retain full copyright to any their own original content. http://courses2.cit.cornell.edu/physicsdemos/
