This website was developed for teachers of physical science in the UK,  providing them with resources focusing on practical applications of physics concepts.  It contains hundreds of experiments spanning all topics in introductory physics, of which most have been classroom tested by the design team.  Each experiment is supplemented with lesson plans and background information.  Users may search by topic or keywords.

Practical Physics is sponsored, in part, by the renowned Institute of Physics.  Team members provide a spectrum of professional expertise, from physics and astronomy through lab safety and pedagogy.
