This site provides a non-mathematical overview of research on the magnetic fields and space environment around Earth.  It includes articles on particles, electromagnetic forces, the sun and solar wind, and space exploration. The site stresses history and conceptual understanding, and basics such as electrons, ions and their motion in space, plasmas,  and energy.  Additional references include a glossary, timeline, Q&A,  and teacher guide. A Spanish translation is available.
