Based upon traditional lecture demonstrations, these activities allow students to interact directly with apparatus available in the University of Pittsburgh Physics Exploration Center. Problems are written to be used as homework problems. Topics covered include introductory mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, and light.

This is one of several Research Based Learning Tools developed by the University of Pittsburgh Physics Education Research Group, available on this web site.
