Detail Page
This web site provides a set of guided inquiry tutorials for thirteen topics regularly covered in introductory physics. These resources are designed for use in small group discussions and explorations. The tutorial worksheets are provided in a format that will allow instructors to modify them as needed to suit their course. The authors also provide supporting materials to help teachers make effective modifications and to help train teaching assistants in their use. These supporting materials include comments from the developers and experienced instructors, annotated video of students engaging in the tutorials, instructor's guides, and related homework, pretests, and exam questions.
Editor's Note: These tutorials are also appropriate for new and preservice science teachers who teach physical science and physics.
