This set of tutorial materials covers the topic of oscillatory motion in one and two dimensions. Students examine qualitatively and quantitatively the motion of simple and non-harmonic oscillators through explorations of equations of motion, trajectories, and phase relations. Separate tutorials cover different examples of oscillatory motion. Materials available include the tutorials, assessments, and notes for the instructor.
This is part of a large collection of similar tutorial materials in intermediate classical mechanics.
