This web page contains a simulation-based module on projectile motion without air resistance. Users can alter the initial trajectory of the ball, the force of gravity, and the mass of the ball. The path of the ball can be traced, showing parabolic motion. Through the vectors menu, the velocity, force of acceleration, and force of gravity vectors can be plotted. The help section provides full instructions for use plus supplementary student activities.
This item is part of a larger collection of simulation-based physics modules sponsored by the MAP project (Modular Approach to Physics).
