This web page is an interactive physics simulation on the cycles a refrigerator goes through. The user can see that this cycle requires work to move heat, as compared to an engine moving heat to do work.
This is part of a collection of similar simulation-based student activities. Please note that this resource requires Java Applet Plug-in.
