This is an interactive homework problem for introductory physics students relating to two-dimensional kinematics. An archer shoots an arrow horizontally a target whose bullseye is the same height as the arrow. Given initial speed and distance between archer/target, the student must determine how far away the arrow will land from bullseye. This problem is accompanied by a Socratic-dialog "help" sequence designed to encourage critical thinking as users do a guided conceptual analysis before attempting the mathematics. It is part of a larger collection of interactive physics problems.
